The Serbian government held today a thematic session, at which presentation “From vision to results in Serbia” was held, and which was attended by World Bank Regional Director for Southeast Europe Ellen Goldstein.
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic informed Ellen Goldstein about the programme of the Serbian government which he presented in his keynote address and stressed the importance of cooperation with the World Bank.
The Prime Minister especially thanked her for the support provided by the World Bank and herself personally.
The World Bank Regional Director for Southeast Europe thanked the Prime Minister and members of the government on the possibility of cooperation and praised the success of Prime Minister Vucic and the government achieved to date.
At the session it was decided to form four teams, based on a 10-point programme of the government, that will focus on the achievement of the priority objectives of the government in the following period:
Tim 1: Connecting Serbia with Europe and the world;
Tim 2: Creating economic opportunities for all;
Tim 3: Providing better services;
Tim 4: Protection of human rights and security.
The Serbian government will soon harmonise the results framework, implementation plan, determine staffing solutions for each team and regularly monitor the progress of each team.
