Glamocic pointed out that only fresh investments can help Budimka become a market leader again.
He reiterated that agriculture is one of the biggest potentials of Serbia.
The Minister said that investments in the food industry are necessary, as agriculture annually brings the country more than €2 billion worth of exports.
We have the potential to continue to attract investors, both from the East and the West , he said, adding that only in this way can Serbia become an attractive market for new investments.
The delegation of businessmen from the People's Republic of China was presented with production capacities of Budimka.
Budimka was once one of the leading manufacturers of marmalade, jams, juices and canned fruit.
Budimka went private in 2008, but the privatisation contract was terminated in 2010.
The company is now in the process of restructuring. It currently employs about 100 workers and has reported profits in the past four years.
