Noting that economic cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic is on a significant rise, Glamočić said that the total trade in goods in 2025 exceeded €2.4 billion, and the value of trade in agricultural and food products reached more than €100 million, which represents an increase of as much as 43% compared to 2024.
The Czech Republic belongs to the group of 20 largest investors in Serbia, and the prospects for further strengthening of economic ties between the two countries are clear, the Minister emphasised.
In January this year, we first started exporting Serbian brandy to the very demanding Czech market, with the export value reaching several hundred thousand euros in just one month, and we have also started exporting chocolate toppings, Glamočić pointed out.
He announced that the focus of future cooperation will be the development of agrocentr es and the application of modern technologies in agriculture, including solutions based on artificial intelligence and satellite technologies.
The visit to Agrishow was preceded by a working lunch between Minister Glamočić and Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Martin Šebestyán.
On that occasion, an agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation in the field of forestry by signing a memorandum, and discussions also focused on further improving trade exchange, cooperation in the field of livestock breeding, as well as the exchange of experiences and modern technologies in agriculture.
