The interlocutors discussed the participation of Czech companies in the implementation of ongoing and future projects in Serbia, with particular emphasis on the importance of exchanging knowledge, expertise and best practices between the two countries’ institutions, with the aim of continuously improving institutional and economic cooperation.
The Minister assessed that the completion of the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway, along with the already established freight and expected passenger traffic, represents a strong impetus for regional connectivity and further railway development, opening up the possibility of re-establishing a direct Belgrade-Prague passenger line, with the option of including stops in Bratislava and connecting with Vienna.
