The Minister said that the arrival of the IMF mission, which will stay in Serbia from 26 February to 13 March, is a sign of confidence that Serbia will continue to implement reforms.
According to Krstic, the negotiations will be difficult, but the Serbian government’s aim is to make a deal with the IMF, and it will persist.
Krstic said that the arrival of the IMF mission inspires huge confidence to investors, and that confirms that our country is on the path of reforms.
The technical government cannot sign the agreement with the IMF, he said noting that this will be done after the elections.
However, it is expected that a significant part of the negotiations with the IMF mission will be conducted during the mission's stay in Belgrade, Krstic concluded.
