The Statistics Office presented a survey on security and crime in the business surrounding, initiated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The goal of this survey was to collect information on the scope of corruption in the public sector, on the experience of businesses in using the services of the public sector, on integrity of public officials and satisfaction with the quality of received services, on the experience regarding the business-to-business corruption, as well as the need to objectively assess corruption and crime faced by businesses.
The focus of the survey has been on perception and experience of businesses while using the services of the public sector.
In order to ensure comparability of the results of the survey, the same questionnaire and survey methodology (defined by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) have been applied in other countries/territories of the Western Balkans region.
