Of the total available budget, the money receipts make 95.3% and the receipts in kind make 4.7%.
The largest share of available budget refers to the salaries and wages – 44.0%, pensions – 29.6%, income from agriculture, hunting and fishing – 8.0%, natural consumption – 4.5%, and other receipts – 4.2%.
The individual consumption expenditures of the households in the Republic of Serbia amounted to RSD 53,282, of which the expenditures for food and non-alcoholic beverages make the largest share of 40.5% and expenditures related to housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels make 15.1%.
Expenditures for transport amounted to 8.2%, recreation and culture – 5.6%, clothing and footwear – 5.2%, for other goods and services – 5.0%, home furniture, equipment and maintenance – 4.5%, communications – 4.4%, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco – 4.3%.
The published data were obtained through Household Budget Survey. The survey collects the data on income, expenditure and household consumption, i.e., the data on basic elements of individual consumption.
