Bacevic will on 30 October participate in an investment conference, where he will present the concept of investment in the mining industry as a model for attracting investments, equity placement and raising production capacity through greater mobilisation of the workforce.
Also, Bacevic will have a series of separate meetings with officials of the Russian Federation, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of geology and mining.
The visit to Moscow will be a good opportunity for the Minister of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning to discuss with Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation and co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the two countries Alexander Novak topics for the next session scheduled for November .
Bacevic will then travel to Beijing, where he will meet with Minister of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China Jiang Daming, with whom he will sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries’ line ministries.
Representatives of the Geological Institute of Serbia and the Institute of Mining of China will also sign the Memorandum of Understanding, which will more closely define areas of future cooperation.
During the visit, Bacevic will meet with representatives of Chinese corporations who have invested or want to invest in the mining industry in Serbia.
On 3 November, Bacevic will attend the International Conference on Mining and on 4 November he will take part in the Ministerial Forum on Mining, which will be attended by 15 foreign ministers.
