Overall external trade in Serbia in January-August $22317.7 m

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January – August 2013 amounted to: $22317.7 million - which was a 14.1% increase compared to the same period 2012.
The external trade amounted to €16968.6 million,which was an 11.2% increase compared to the same period 2012.
The value of exports amounted to $9236.8 million, which was 28.1% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $13080.9 million, which was 5.9% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €7022.4 million, which was the increase of 24.8%, compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to €9946.2 million, which was 3.3% increase when compared to the same period last year.
The deficit amounted to $3844.1 million, which was a decrease of 25.3% in relation to the same period last year. The deficit expressed in Euros amounted to 2923.8 million, which was a decrease of 27.0% compared to the same period last year.
The export-import ratio equaled 70.6% and was higher if compared to the same period last year when it was 58.3%.
