Dinkic and Boulif assessed at the meeting that the signing of this agreement is only one of the steps towards improving economic cooperation between the two countries.
Dinkic said that Serbia and Morocco have the potential to achieve closer economic cooperation and noted that the current level of trade which stands at $13 million annually is very modest.
He said that Serbia, which has agreements on free trade and duty-free export to the EU, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkey and CEFTA countries, covers a market of 1 billion people, which is one of the reasons why many investors decide to make products in Serbia intended for export.
Boulif confirmed that Morocco is extremely interested in closer cooperation with Serbia, particularly in energy, infrastructure, transport, logistics, tourism and agriculture, the areas which are booming in his country.
These are the industries that are most interesting to investors, he said and called on Serbian companies to compete at international tenders which the Kingdom of Morocco announces in these areas.
