After the signing of the document in the Serbian government, Ilic said that the section in question is the one from Ljig to Preljina 50 kilometres long and that representatives of almost all ministries worked on this matter since the appointment of the new government.
He announced the opening of a bid soon for giving concessions for construction of Belgrade-Obrenovac section and Ljig-Preljina on Corridor 11 and added that the estimated cost of construction works is €600 million.
The draft concession for construction of Belgrade-Obrenovac section will be ready in a month.
Ilic said that approximately 4,000 workers is working on Corridor 11 at the moment and that their number is expected to grow to 10,000.
Wei said that he hopes that cooperation with Serbia will continue and added that Shandong Hi-Speed Group is particularly interested in the construction of Belgrade-Obrenovac section.
This company currently builds around 2,000 kilometres of roads in the world and has its offices in more than 30 countries.
The signing of the agreement was also attended by Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Zhang Wanxue, second deputy general manager of Shandong Hi-Speed Group Sun Lei, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy to Serbia Zhu Lianqi and Director for Investments and Development of Shandong Hi-Speed Group Lin Hin.
