March industrial production increases

The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that industrial production in March 2013 increased by 0.8% against March last year and by 3.5% against the 2012 average.
Industrial production in the January-March 2013 period, in comparison to the same period in 2012, grew by 5.2%.
Observed by sectors, in March 2013, in relation to the same month in 2012, the sector of supply with electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning recorded a growth of 13.6%, while the sector of processing industry recorded a drop of 2.1% and the mining sector recorded a drop of 7%.
