In its publication “Structure of income and expenditure of economic subjects in the Republic of Serbia”, the Statistics Office publishes the results of the survey – Structure of inputs and outputs of legal entities and unincorporated enterprises – that was implemented from 2 April to 29 June 2012, pursuant to the Law on Official Statistics.
The number of 17,627 economic subjects in the territory of the Republic of Serbia were covered by the survey and this included enterprises, government bodies and institutions, non-profit institutions, auxiliary financial institutions and unincorporated enterprises.
The data were compiled on detailed level of the Classification of Products by Activity – СРА, and on the basis of them it is possible to have an insight into the structure of inputs and outputs of production processes for all activities of our national economy.
The survey results present the basis for estimating production and technical coefficients required for the creation of Supply and Use Tables. SUT tables are an indispensable instrument to sophisticated macroeconomic analysis, conceptual designing, monitoring and evaluation of economic and structural policies.
The publication can be found on the Statistics Office’s website.
The survey was supported by the EU funds, the share of which equalled 60% of the total costs.
