Bacevic, who is also co-chairman of the Serbian-Russian Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation, spoke today in Moscow with the Russian co-chairman of the Committee, Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.
The Minister pointed out that during Dacic's visit to Russia, scheduled for 10 -11 April, an agreement on the approval of a loan worth $800 million for the modernisation of the Serbian railways will also be signed.
The agreements on the mutual recognition of diplomas and cooperation in the field of defence will also be signed.
Bacevic expressed his hope that a possible inclusion of cars, sugar, tobacco and cheese to the list of duty free products in the export of goods from Serbia to Russia will also be discussed.
The Minister said that the Russian side expressed great satisfaction over the fact that Serbia quickly developed a regional plan for the South Stream gas pipeline and passed a law that declared the gas pipeline a national project.
He recalled that Serbia was ready on 20 December last year to lay the corner stone for the South Stream gas pipeline, but that the problem are implementation designs that should be prepared by the Serbian and Russian sides, and are overdue.
Bacevic said that Russia is interested in participating in the exploitation of oil shale in Aleksinac, in the Kovin energy complex, as well as in the extension of the license for exploring oil and gas resources by 2020.
