Ugljanin, who is heading a business delegation of Serbia on visit to Iraq, said that he is satisfied that prominent experts from the field of energy, construction and other fields are members of the delegation and added that meetings of this kind should be held regularly so that cooperation could be concretised.
The Minister underlined that in this way trade between Serbia and Iraq, which in 2009 stood at $39 million, would improve.
He invited representatives of companies from Basra to come to Serbia, to the Novi Sad fair of agriculture.
Es-Soudani noted that there is space for cooperation between Serbia and Iraq and voiced his hope that this meeting is only a beginning of good cooperation.
With a visit to Basra the Serbian delegation continued its visit to Iraq, which already gave concrete results in the form of the Joint statement on cooperation between Serbia and the Maysan Province, reads a statement issued by the Office of the Minister without Portfolio.
