After the signing of the protocol on the stand of Fiat at the Belgrade Fair, Dinkic said that as of today Serbian citizens can buy this car at a price lower by €3,000 than before.
He explained that the state will subsidise from the budget the lower price of Fiat cars in Serbia, adding that car loans will also be available, with the 5-year repayment period and an annual interest rate of 3%.
The Minister said that 5,000 cars will be available for purchase under such conditions this and next year, and noted that Fiat pledged to employ at least 600 workers more in the factory in Kragujevac by the end of the year and another 800 next year and to invest an additional €10 million in equipment.
Dinkic recalled that Fiat has around 2,500 workers at the moment and with the new employees, their number will increase to 4,000 and they will work at the main site of the factory in Kragujevac.
He announced that the employment of new workers will begin in April and that the Kragujevac plant, co-owned by Fiat and the state of Serbia, will introduce a third shift as of next year.
Dinkic specified that the largest amount of Fiat’s output will be exported and a revenue of €1.5 billion is expected this year on that basis.

Ferrara underlined that the new version of Fiat 500L was made specifically for the Serbian market, under the name “nazionale”, which comes with an attractive and affordable equipment.
He specified that since its arrival to Serbia, Fiat invested €1.2 billion, of which €350 million in reconstruction of the factory and €850 million in state-of-the-art equipment.
He said that his company has long-term plans in Serbia and is strongly oriented towards prosperity on both domestic and foreign markets.
Ferrara said that since July, when the production of the model "500 L" started in Serbia, Fiat produced and exported 43,000 cars, and the goal for this year is to produce between 110,000 and 150,000 vehicles, depending on whether a duty-free sale will be arranged with the Russian Federation.
