Agreement on Russian loan to Serbian railway to be signed on 11 January

Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic announced today that he will sign a contract on a $800 million loan of the Russian Federation intended for Serbian railways company Zeleznice Srbije in Moscow in January.

In a statement to Tanjug news agency, Dinkic specified that he was invited by Russian Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov to come to Moscow on 11 January to sign the contract on the loan which the two states had previously confirmed.
The Minister said that he spoke with Siluanov by phone and that the conversation occurred at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Dinkic added that he will discuss with the Russian Minister of Finance the realisation of a loan in the amount of an additional $1 billion for the support to the Serbian budget.
