AJW Aviation belongs to the top five companies in the world that provide this type of services in the airline industry.
Mrkonjic and the leaders of Jat also discussed with representatives of the English company the current situation in Serbia’s national air carrier, which is going to face with significant structural changes in the near future.
These changes have to do with the government’s decision to reorganise and set up a new company as soon as possible which will have much fewer employees and new fleet with the purchase of new aircraft, and which will be relieved of the current debt.
The Serbian government is determined to set up a new company. After several models that were considered very seriously and which were not problematic, but given the fact that the general situation in this sector is complicated in whole Europe, this solution has been adopted.
Before the newly-formed working group puts into practice the new solution for the very challenging process of forming a new national air company, Jat leadership and Minister Mrkonjic agreed that it is necessary to maintain a high professional level, general mobility, security and acceleration of all activities related to the restructuring of the company.
The delegation of AJW Aviation included Director of Sales and Marketing David Brown, Director of Legal Affairs Roger Wolstenholme and Advisor Stevan Polovina.
