Prices of products and services in July 2012 in relation to June 2012 increased by 0.1% on average.
Consumer prices in July 2012, compared to July 2011, increased by 6.1% and by 5.4% in relation to December 2011.
Observed by main groups according to destination of consumption in July 2012 in relation to the previous month, the greatest increase of prices was noted in the groups: Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.6%), Recreation and culture (5.7%), Restaurants and hotels (1.0%), Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.6%) and Health (0.5%). In the same period the following groups saw a decrease: Food and non-alcoholic beverages (-1.3%), Transport (-0.4%) and Communications (-0.2).
Prices of other products and services mostly remained unchanged.
