The statement adds that in June 2012, compared to May 2012, the retail trade turnover dropped by 0.8% at current and by 1.8% at constant prices.
The retail trade turnover in the period January–June 2012, compared to the same period in 2011, went up by 5.1% at current prices and decreased by 0.9% at constant prices.
The turnover indices at constant prices are obtained by deflating the indices at current prices by the corresponding indices of retail prices, excluding: water (from public utility systems), electricity and motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts.
