Speaking in a broadcast on Radio Television Serbia, Dinkic said that on 30 July he will choose his closest associates and that he will appoint economist Milica Bisic as his deputy in the Ministry of Finance and Economy, who will be in charge of the reform of the tax system, while President of company Metalac from Gornji Milanovac Dragoljub Vukadinovic will be his advisor.
He said that he will speak next week with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Goran Knezevic about the situation in agriculture caused by drought and added that the state will secure subsidised loans to compensate for the damage to agricultural producers.
The Minister also announced the formation of a team for the abolition of unnecessary para-fiscal levies, of which there are now around 256 in various forms of taxes.
He announced that the profit tax rate, which now stands at 5%, will be increased to 15%, so that those who earn the most could contribute more to society and noted that even when increased, this rate will be among the lowest profit tax rates in Europe.
Dinkic also announced that in coordination with the National Bank of Serbia, he will talk with representatives of banks in order to make their loans more in the function of development of the economy, to discuss the possibility of lowering interest rates on loans in Serbia and how can banks help to reduce the debts of the state and local governments to the economy and improve its liquidity.
Speaking about new personnel changes, Dinkic said that competitions for new directors of the tax and customs administrations will be announced soon.
