On this occasion two important agreements will be signed - on joint encouragement and protection of investment and on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine.
In addition to representatives of almost all ministries, Serbia will be represented by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), Serbian Chamber of Commerce, National Agency for Insurance and Financing of Export and Banking Sector, and a large group of businessmen from various industries that do business in Algeria, or are interested in doing so.
The Serbian delegation will meet with the Algerian ministers of agriculture and rural development, industry and investment promotion, water resources, public works, housing and urban development, as well as of foreign affairs.
In its total trade with Algeria, Serbia records surplus by exporting goods worth approximately $8 million, and Serbian companies have so far significantly participated in development projects in Algeria.
Currently there are realistic possibilities for Serbian companies to get involved in the delivery of machinery and equipment, agricultural machinery, food products, rubber products and consumer goods, particularly drugs.
Also technology transfer and sale of state-of-the-art equipment and lines for food processing is possible.
Minister Ciric will be received by head of the Algerian delegation and Minister of Water Resources Abdelmalek Sellal.
