Industrial production in records 2.1% growth in 2011

The Statistics Office stated that industrial production in Serbia in December 2011, when compared to December 2010, increased by 0.1% and in relation to 2010 average, it increased by 8.4%.
In the period January- December 2011, relative to the same period 2010, industrial production increased by 2.1%.
The largest influence on industrial production growth in December 2011 compared to December 2010 had the divisions of: electricity supply, manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, mining of coal and manufacture of other transport equipment.
The seasonally adjusted industrial production index for December 2011, compared to November 2011, indicates 0.5% fall of the overall industrial production and 0.2% growth of manufacturing.
The seasonal adjustment of the industrial production index for December 2011, compared to 2010 average, indicates 1.0% growth of the overall industrial production and 3.5% fall of manufacturing.
