The Framework agreement on Bosch’s investment in Serbia was signed by Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric, President of Pecinci municipality Sinisa Vukov and representatives of the company.
Ciric said on this occasion that the construction of the 22,000 square metre factory should start in early 2012 and the production in 2013.
The Minister explained that the factory should initially have 60 employees, with the number of employees increasing to 620 by 2019.
He noted that the arrival of Bosch is the indicator that our country is attractive for investors, politically stable and that the years’ long work of the Serbian government produces results.
This can also be seen in the fact that this year Serbia is the regional leader in foreign direct investment and that more than 100 companies from the automotive sector started their investments in the past year and a half, Ciric said.
Serbian President Boris Tadic underlined that Bosch is a company with global prestige, whose arrival in Serbia represents a great success and increases the performance of the Serbian economy and industry.
