Serbia’s investment opportunities presented in Paris

Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric presented Serbia’s investment opportunities at the French Chamber of Commerce in Paris today.
Ciric told Tanjug news agency that French businesspeople expressed their interest in investing in agriculture, infrastructure and the processing and pharmaceutical industries.
Representatives from over 50 French companies participated in the meeting at which Serbia’s investment opportunities and possibilities for economic cooperation between the two countries were presented, the Minister said.
Ciric will attend a ministerial conference in Paris organised by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The meeting at the French Chamber of Commerce was also attended by French investors already present in Serbia.
At the Mechanical Industry Federation, the Serbian delegation will present Serbia’s potential in the car industry. Several dozen companies directly linked to the car industry are expected to attend, the Minister observed.
During his stay in Paris, Ciric will hold meetings with certain companies and associations interested in cooperating with or investing in Serbia.
