Speaking at the ceremony Ciric stated that the construction of the centre, which will employ 200 Serbian engineers giving them opportunity to export their knowledge in other EU and world countries, will be finished by the end of March 2012.
The Minister stated that the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) together with the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development has just concluded an open competition for new investors approving 51 new domestic and foreign projects worth €260 million.
The greatest success of this open competition is creation of 8,200 new jobs, Ciric underlined and said that once again Serbia has proved to be a politically stable country able to ensure high technology and production investments.
Director of SIEPA Bozidar Laganin expressed his satisfaction with the success of the project and the fact that the interest in investing in Serbia is still high, adding that German companies will continue to invest and shortly some of their famous brands will start production in Serbia.
German company Muehlbauer received four million euros from the Ministry of Economy through the National investment plan for investment incentives administered by SIEPA, €500,000 of which for the creation of new jobs.
