Speaking at the ceremony Kalanovic highlighted that Yura Sewon is the third factory in Serbia, adding that the new factory in Nis will create 500 new jobs.
The factory will get copper supplies for the production of cable installations from the mining and metallurgical complex RTB Bor, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.
The investment is worth eight million euros, she said and added that Yura got investment incentive from the National Investment Plan receiving €10.000 per new job created for 300 jobs.
Nis Mayor Milos Simonovic awarded Yura Sewon representatives operating permit for the new factory.
The factory spans 12,500 square metres and has capacity to process 300 tons of copper per month, while the cable installations manufactured will supply Yura’s factories in Raca and Nis, as well as the factories in the EU and Russia.
