The Serbian delegation led by Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic will also include Organisation's Director Miodrag Popovic and Director of the Belgrade Tourist Organisation Olivera Lazovic.
In line with the Strategy for tourism development, Serbia's stand is designed in such a way so as to represent its entire tourist offer, divided in four regions - Belgrade, Vojvodina, southeastern Serbia and southwestern Serbia.
In addition to tourist organisations of Serbia and Belgrade, the tourist organisation of Vojvodina will also be present at the fair, as well as the Tourist-Information Centre of Novi Sad, Jat Airways, the Universiade 2006, tourist agencies "Jolly Travel", "Argus Tours", "Glob Metropoliten Tours" and "Magelan Corporation" and Belgrade hotel "Aleksandar Palas".
The Serbian Tourist Organisation, in association with "Millennium PR" from London, has scheduled a series of interviews with media representatives and meetings with representatives of trip organisers, as well as a press conference that will be held on the first day of the fair, on November 6 at 12 noon, at which Bojan Dimitrijevic, Miodrag Popovic and Olivera Lazovic will speak.
After the conference, a cocktail party will be held at which Serbia food and drinks will be tasted, with authentic Serbian music that will be performed by the trumpet orchestra of Dejan Petrovic, who has been the winner of the Guca trumpet festival for a number of years.
Every day of the fair, from 5 pm to 6 pm, a promotion of Serbia's tourist regions will be held at Serbia's stand, which will include video presentations, promotions of wines and tasting of national specialties, the music programme of the trumpet orchestra of Dejan Petrovic and a display of souvenirs.
WTM is one of the world's largest tourist fairs. Last year, it gathered 5,602 exhibitors from 202 countries at 622 stands and it was visited by 50,000 guests, of whom almost 3,000 were media representatives.
The fair is open only to business visitors and media representatives.
In association with the Serbian Embassy in London, Dejan Petrovic's orchestra will hold a concert on November 7 for the Serbian diaspora and guests from Great Britain. This year, Serbia has been visited by 12% more tourists from Great Britain than last year.
