Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević said today that Serbia will continue to invest heavily in infrastructure connectivity with Republika Srpska, pointing out that joint projects are of strategic importance for the development and better quality of life of citizens on both sides of the Drina River.

Sofronijević spoke with Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska Zoran Stevanović.
The meeting was held as a continuation of the talks between Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, and Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić, with a focus on the operational implementation of joint development initiatives, which is why it was agreed to form joint working groups that will coordinate activities, resolve current issues and monitor the implementation of infrastructure projects of common interest.
The Minister stated that joint infrastructure projects represent an investment in the future, but also a symbol of closeness and cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska.
