Successful live-fire exercise conducted using SAF combat equipment, weapons systems

Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, attended today at the Pasuljanske Livade training ground, together with President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, a demonstration of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) through a live-fire exercise using combat equipment and weapons systems.

During the central display of the Serbian Armed Forces’ training, equipment and operational readiness, which was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić and Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, a live-fire exercise was conducted using modern weapons and equipment that have either been procured or modernised in recent years and are already in operational use or in the final phase of being introduced into service.

The exercise involved air defence artillery and missile units, the air force, tank, mechanised, infantry and artillery units, as well as drones and loitering munitions systems.

More than 130 pieces of equipment and weapons systems and over 1,000 personnel from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces took part in the exercise.

Earlier today, a display of new and modernised equipment and weapons systems was held at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airbase in Batajnica.
