Section of Adrani-Preljina motorway ceremonially opened

Kraljevo/Čačak, 26 June 2026

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević and Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić today attended the ceremonial opening of the motorway section from Adrani, near Kraljevo, to Preljina, near Čačak, on the Morava Corridor.

The section extends from the Adrani interchange to the Preljina interchange and is 28.71 kilometres long.

It will open to traffic tomorrow at 09:00, with tolls waived until 1 July.

The Morava Corridor will have a total length of 112.37 kilometres and will connect Pojate and Preljina, linking the Rasina, Raška and Moravica administrative districts. Construction is currently under way on the final section from Vrba to Adrani, approximately 12 kilometres long.

This motorway is Serbia’s first digital corridor, enabling fast and reliable information exchange to ensure the safe flow of traffic.

Prior to the opening ceremony, Vučić, members of the government, Ambassador of Türkiye İlhan Saygılı, Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy Alexander Titolo, Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy Dominic Otway, directors of the public road management enterprises Koridori Srbije and Putevi Srbije, and representatives of the contractor, the US-Turkish consortium Bechtel-ENKA, travelled by bus along the newly opened motorway section.
