Gas price increases for economic reasons

Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov explained that the price increase of natural gas is due to economic reasons and recalled that there was no price correction since October last year.
The Minister said that other energy sources increased in price, including oil.
He said that Serbia gets Russian gas at commercial price, amounting to between $280 and $300 per 1,000 cubic metres, whereas gas was sold out at only $180 so far.
Naumov also confirmed the statement of Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic that there will be no price correction of electric energy by the end of the year.
