Director of the Serbian government's Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica is now fully focused on success of the referendum on the new Constitution and that he surely did not dedicate himself to sending out any messages through the media on when new elections will be held.
Djuric said in a statement to Beta news agency that in the past few days the Serbian Prime Minister explained several times very clearly that after the adoption of the new Constitution in Serbian parliament, the referendum's success will follow and immediately after that, the elections will be called.
The Director of the Office of Media Relations recalled that Kostunica pointed out several times that the right moment for calling the elections is "immediately after the referendum" and that it would be best that all sides agree on that issue after citizens declare themselves on the new Constitution at the referendum.
