Director of the Serbian government's Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that the government will keep doing all it can to conclude cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) because it is in Serbia's interest to do so.

It is a pity that the talks between Serbia and the EU will not be resumed because they would additionally stimulate the conclusion of cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, Djuric told the Beta news agency.
Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica will attend the meeting of EU foreign ministers on October 16 in Luxembourg and there meet with the EU Three to discuss the continuation of talks on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between Serbia and the EU, as well as the implementation of the Action Plan for cooperation with the Hague Tribunal.
Djuric said that Kostunica will also talk about Kosovo-Metohija and state Serbia's arguments in favour of a compromise solution based on European experience and in line with international law.
