President of the National council for cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia Rasim Ljajic briefed today tribunal's Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte about the course of the implementation of the Serbian government's Action plan and highlighted that the civil and military security services have achieved better cooperation and coordination.

Ljajic pointed out that in two months of the Action plan's implementation good institutional mechanisms have been created that should lead to the final result - the surrender of Hague indictee Ratko Mladic.
Del Ponte expressed satisfaction with the progress in cooperation related to delivery of documents and access to archives and freeing witnesses from the obligation of keeping a secret, but she underlined that a full cooperation of the Republic of Serbia with the Hague tribunal will be established only with the surrender of Ratko Mladic.
