Lopandic told the press that major progress was made in the recently completed third round of negotiations on CEFTA zone expansion, in the areas of competition, rules on origin of goods and removal of technical obstacles in trade.
He explained that negotiations were very complex, and in certain areas there was no consensus.
According to Lopandic, progress was made regarding the formation of a CEFTA secretariat whose seat will most probably be in Geneva or Brussels.
