Failure to arrest Dudakovic an insult to innocent victims

Head of the Serbian government's Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that the government feels that the very fact that Atif Dudakovic, former commander of the 5th corps of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Army, still has not been arrested is absolutely unacceptable and represents an insult to all innocent victims.
In Serbia, war crimes are strictly a matter of law enforcement. The case of the "Scorpions", a Serbian paramilitary unit, showed that no one suspected of war crimes can walk freely in Serbia, but is immediately brought before the face of justice, said Djuric in a statement to the Tanjug news agency.
Serbia again showed that these cases are all about law enforcement by establishing the action team for the conclusion of cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. The team has but one goal, to locate, seize and extradite Ratko Mladic and other indictees, he recalled.
According to Djuric, this is why Serbia has the full right to insist that Atif Dudakovic and other war criminals, whose crimes have been shown to the whole world, should be at once brought to justice.
