Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić said today, in a conversation with the Ghanaian delegation, led by Ghanaian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs James Gyakye Quayson, that Serbia attaches great importance to traditionally friendly relations with that country and remains firmly committed to their further strengthening.

Đurić particularly expressed his gratitude to Ghana for its consistent support for preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
The Minister also said that there is significant room for improving economic cooperation, given the potential of the economies of the two countries.
In this context, he pointed out that Serbia has more than doubled its gross domestic product in the last decade and maintained a stable macroeconomic situation, which represents a good basis for attracting new investments and strengthening economic ties with partners in Africa.
The Serbian Foreign Minister welcomed Ghana’s decision to participate in Expo 2027 in Belgrade.
