Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo and Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar said today that the municipalities of northern Backa and northern Banat will receive over €40 million from the National Investment Plan, around €27.5 million of which will be Serbian government’s direct investments.
After meeting with representatives of eleven municipalities in Subotica, Bubalo and Loncar stressed that funds were allocated for most of the submitted projects.
Loncar said that thanks to meetings with representatives of municipalities, projects were concretised, which means that most of the projects will be accepted at the contest for the funds from the National Investment Plan.
He said that these are mainly development and infrastructure projects, but also those capital ones which are of greater regional importance.
Bubalo said that all ten municipalities got funds for industrial zones and science parks, and that projects in the areas of culture, sports, health and education were approved.
