The Dragacevo Festival means a return of the people to its roots, to joy and the meaning of life, said Kostunica and added that today, Guca is the second largest town in Serbia and the trumpet has become Serbia's national brand.
Those who cannot understand and love Guca, cannot understand Serbia, said the Prime Minister and recalled that the festival began 46 years ago and has grown in size ever since.
According to him, between 500,000 and 600,000 people visited Guca this year. In the course of these 46 years, it is estimated that around 12 million people came to see the festival, he added.
