New bill secures long-term stability for pension system

Serbian Minister of Employment, Social Policy and Labour Slobodan Lalovic said today in Novi Sad that the Bill on Pension and Disability Insurance is a long-lasting solution that will make the pension system sustainable and stable.
Addressing the Council of the Association of Free and Independent Trade Unions of Vojvodina (VSSSV), Lalovic pointed out that unlike the former “short-term” solutions whose price is being paid today by low pensions, the new Bill offers long-lasting, sustainable and stable solutions.
While discussing the Bill, the Minister pointed out the necessity of GDP reallocation for the purpose of investments and the creation of new jobs, which will provide money for the empty pension funds.
