Apart from the Rodrigues acoustic guitar, Dinkic also presented the school where he attended piano lessons for six years, with three music stands and a piano stool.
In his address to the teachers and students of the school, Dinkic recalled that last week the Serbian government decided to set up a
Fund for Young Talents, for which 500 million dinars from the budget will be allocated by the year’s end.
According to him, the 1,000 best university students will each receive a scholarship in the form of a 20,000 dinar monthly stipend starting from September. Money from the Fund will also be used for enrolment costs and scholarships for postgraduate students, as well as for awarding winners at European and international competitions.
Principal of the Josif Marinkovic school Gordana Ilic presented the Minister with a silver coin and a letter of thanks, expressing the hope that he will continue to help his former school as well as all talented students in Serbia.
