Head of the Serbian government’s Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that the Council of Europe had clearly confirmed that all Montenegrin citizens living in Serbia should be allowed to vote at a possible referendum.

In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Djuric underlined that the right to vote is a fundamental human and democratic right which must not be violated or justified by political reasons.
He said that, after the clear recommendations of the Council of Europe, it is necessary to calmly work together to secure the right of all Montenegrin citizens living in Serbia to vote at the possible referendum.
