Milan Parivodic
In a statement for the Serbian government’s official website, Parivodic pointed out that he had talks with heads of Hellenic Petroleum, the EFG Bank, OTE as well as other large companies.
He assessed that this confirms Serbia-Montenegro’s continued European integrations made official by the positive assessment of the Feasibility Study.
The Minister said that it is now up to us to ensure that those investments reach Serbia and specified that they were interested in hotels, telephone networks, roads, construction work, retail and other segments of the economy.
According to him, our country still has ownership, as well as administrative problems which is why all competent ministers must urgently meet in order to create a favourable investment climate in Serbia. Parivodic said that relations with local authorities must be resolved, as they have created problems for investors on a number of occasions.
The Minister of International Economic Relations met yesterday in Athens with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Evripidis Stilianidis to discuss economic relations of the two countries.
