Radomir Naumov
Naumov, who is on a three-day visit to Sweden, told the Beta news agency that during the day he met with representatives of the Swedish national energy company Vattenfall and of the electricity stock exchange Nort Pula.
Vattenfall is one of Europe's largest energy companies and its organisation is very similar to that of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia, which was assessed by Naumov as distinct advantage for Serbia in the exchange of experiences.
The Minister also met with representatives of the Swedish Council for District Heating SweHeat. He pointed out that the Swedish government has already invested certain funds for district heating in Serbia.
Naumov said that a representative of the Nordic Investment Bank was present in all talks he had with Swedish representatives, since Serbia signed an investment agreement with that bank and a portion of these funds will be used for the energy sector.
Naumov explained that the three-day visit of the Serbian delegation to Sweden is the first step in the realisation of continuing cooperation between the two countries after signing the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of energy in March 2005 in Belgrade.
