The Director General David Green said he was impressed by the students’ knowledge of English and presented the students with age-appropriate English language magazines.
With a promise on behalf of the Council to support all joint projects in the future, Green expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the Ministry and the British Council, which is celebrating 65 years in Belgrade this year.
The aim of today’s visit is the improvement of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Sport and the British Council in the training of English language teachers, especially in light of the recently signed Memorandum on cooperation, which regulates the lowest level of knowledge (b2) necessary for teaching English and seeks to ensure a quality level of teaching according to the classification of the joint European framework.
