Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic, who participates in a conference on energy in Europe, said that at this meeting in Sofia, Serbia's contribution in recent years in terms of renewable energy sources was positively assessed.

Antic stressed that the conference "Clean Energy for All Europeans - The Way to the Future" put two key issues - clean energy for all Europeans and new regional integration projects - into the forefront.
He added that, in the next two years, we will have new 500 megawatts from renewable energy sources on the network.
Serbia will continue to talk with representatives of the European Commission and the Energy Community about the modalities in which it will take place in the second phase, Antic said.
