Solutions presented for housing projects in flooded areas

Deputy Chief of the Serbian government’s crisis response committee on flood relief in the Srednji Banat district Dragoslav Petrovic has presented four models of addressing housing problems of families whose homes were destroyed in the floods.
The proposed solutions include the buyout of unused buildings in the area, building new houses at the same locations, and the construction of new apartment buildings.
According to Petrovic, experts are already in the village of Jasa Tomic and they are preparing a project so that the building can start as early as next week.
