Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Gerlando Genuardi agreed during talks today that it was necessary to harmonise the EIB’s loan policy with EU aid, in order to achieve the best results from the reform processes in Serbia.
The participants, who talked about previous and future financial EIB activities, pointed out the necessity of harmonising the EIB’s activities with arrangements of other financial institutions.
Labus said that the EIB’s loan policy greatly contributes to Serbia’s reforms, especially in the area of infrastructure development. Genuardi confirmed that this institution would continue to disburse loans in Serbia especially in the area of infrastructure and structural adjustment.
