Serbian economic policy recommendations adopted

Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic said that a set of common conclusions of the financial dialogue between the EU and the Serbian delegation was adopted today in Brussels, noting that the recommendations for Serbia are oriented towards the continued implementation of measures of fiscal consolidation.

Vujovic said that the recommendations relate to the resolution of the status of state-owned enterprises, continued reform of public administration and implementation of the transformation of the Tax Administration.
The meeting, organised by the EU Council for Economic and Financial Affairs - ECOFIN, was attended by delegations from the Western Balkans and Turkey, who adopted common conclusions of the dialogue on economic and financial issues, the implementation of which will be jointly monitored in the future, within the process accession and the EU accession process.
The meeting was attended by representatives of European institutions such as the European Commission, the European Central Bank and Eurostat.
The Serbian delegation, besides Minister Vujovic, included State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Milovan Filimonovic as well as representatives of the National Bank of Serbia.
